A Sangeet Soiree at the Wallace Collection
Having attended the Art of South Asian Weddings training in 2024, the Wallace Collection identified the need to develop their venue strategy to attract South Asian Weddings & Celebrations. Work With Milan was appointed to work with the Wallace Collection events team to identify their niche within the South Asian market. Being a historic venue and a museum open to the public, we identified that the venue is the ideal location for pre and post wedding celebrations. The strategy was to bring this offering to life by creating an editorial style marketing shoot and campaign to demonstrate the venue as a luxury setting for cultural events. Working together with leading suppliers within the luxury events sector the venue was dressed to resemble a ‘Sangeet Soiree’. The marketing strategy included a weeks long social media campaign generating great exposure for the venue within the South Asian market both in the UK & Internationally.
Milan supported and championed the opening of a whole new business avenue for the Venue Hire department, with an unwavering care and understanding of what it means to work in a national museum. The Wallace Collection is not an easy venue to work in and despite the many rules and regulations that are in place, Milan created new ways of presenting the venue to target a whole new audience. Milan's experience and knowledge of the industry combined with his dedication and passion for the project were paramount to its success.
